Awesome Google Search Tips & Tricks – Part 1

Google, the most favorite search engine all over the world, has a strong research and development department who looks for the need of its customers. Google not only provide the search engine feature, but also provides lots of other features. But yet the search is the best thing in their provided services. Google has improved its search engine over time and still they are updating. Here in this post we will see some of the awesome tricks of Google search engine. As you can see that the title of this post says “Part 1”, I am looking forward to post more of these tricks. So, let’s start.

Google Calculator

Google Calculator is a feature in the Google search page. This is pretty cool to have a scientific calculator in a browser. To find the calculator all you need to go to google.com and type “calculator”. Now you’ll see the calculator. You can use your mouse to use the calculator.
If you are thinking if you need to type calculator to bring the calculator, the answer is no. just type any simple calculation like we used in the photo (20+34).

Google Unit Converter

Google Unit Converter is another awesome thing to use. Like the calculator you can use this online on their search page. Just go to google.com and type “unit converter”. Now select the type of unit you need to convert and start working. Well like the calculator, you can to go a specific unit converter by typing the unit name. In the example here we used “5KG = ? Pound” and Google opened unit converter and shows the direct result.

Google Currency Converter

Google Currency Converter is another useful thing on Google Search. You do not need to know the currency exchange rate or any other things. Google will search for the exchange rate and will convert if for you. To bring the Google Currency Converter all you need to do is type “currency converter” or just type like the picture below. Here in the example we used 10 eur = ? usd and it converted 10 Euro to US Dollars.

Google Time

Google Time is another useful thing if you want to know any places time or your clock on computer is not correct. For example you are living in New York and want to call a friend in Dhaka, Bangladesh, but do not know the exact time in Dhaka. Just visit google.com and type “time Dhaka” and it will show you the time of Dhaka. Like this just put your desired city or country name instead of typing Dhaka, and you will get the current time in that location.

Planning for a trip to somewhere? Need to know the weather forecasting of the place? Just go to google.com and search with weather and the place name like “weather Dhaka”, you will find all the weather updates you need. It even shows seven day forecasting.
